Visual guidance

  • Storytelling: It is recommended to use storytelling. This can be achieved by including story of the brand or product creation. It is good to convey the mission or idea behind the product.
  • Hook: Start the video with a captivating hook to immediately grab the viewer's attention. This could be a bold statement or a visually engaging scene.
  • No bars: The video should be without letter or pillar boxing.
  • Unnecessary objects and people: Unnecessary objects are to be avoided. Faces of people must not be included without their consent.

Technical requirements

  • Video length: From 1 second to 240 minutes maximum.
  • Recommended length: Up to 1 minute.
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9 or 1:1.
  • Width: 1200 pixels minimum.
  • Vertical videos (with aspect ratio taller than 2:3) may be masked to 2:3.
  • Resolution: Highest resolution available, that meets file size and ratio limits.
  • File type: MP4 or MOV recommended, other file formats are also supported.
  • File size: 10 GB maximum.
  • Subtitles: Optional but recommended.

  • Language: British English.
  • Primary text: Maximum 100 words (mention your company name).
  • Headline: 34 characters including spaces maximum.
  • Description: 27 characters including spaces maximum.
  • Format: Word or RTF documents.
  • Tone of voice:
    • Put a catchy headline in the first sentence.
    • Provide the text written in the third person. Use pronouns such as "it," or "they" to refer to someone or something, instead of using "we" (first person) or "you" (second person).
    • Use conversational and simple language.
    • Avoid overly commercial, salesy sentences.
    • Do not include vague/abstract sentences, too general and biased language.
    • Add a call-to-action to watch the video.
