Visual guidance

  • Lighting: Proper exposure and lighting should be ensured.
  • Colors: Color saturation and tonality should be balanced.
  • Ambience: Product images against a plain white or one-colour background must be avoided. Instead, the product is to be showcased within its intended ambiance.
  • Storytelling: It is recommended to use visual storytelling. This can be achieved by including images of the product in use, production process shots and visuals that convey the mission or idea behind the product. The product can be showcased through different types of shots (e.g., close and far shots).
  • Unnecessary objects and people:Unnecessary objects are to be avoided. Faces of people must not be included without their consent.

Technical requirements

  • Quantity: 1 to 10 high-resolution images.
  • Aspect ratio: 1:1
  • File type: JPG, PNG, or MP4
  • Resolution:Minimum 1080 x 1080 pixels
  • File naming: Sequence in desired publication order (For example: 01-image-name.jpg, 02-image-name.jpg).

Text

  • Language: British English.
  • Primary text: Maximum 100 words (mention your company name).
  • Headline: 33 characters including spaces maximum.
  • Description: 22 characters including spaces maximum.
  • Note: The headline and description can be either the same or separate for each image.
  • Format: Word or RTF documents.
  • Tone of voice:
    • Put a catchy headline in the first sentence.
    • Provide the text written in the third person. Use pronouns such as "it," or "they" to refer to someone or something, instead of using "we" (first person) or "you" (second person).
    • Use conversational and simple language.
    • Avoid overly commercial, salesy sentences.
    • Do not include vague/abstract sentences, too general and biased language

  • Hashtags: Search keywords with a prefixed number sign # should be included at the end of description.
